ME IN THE LONGER, MORE BORING VERSION

I was born and raised in Roswell, New Mexico, alien capital of the world. That should say it all, really. The only thing I found alien was myself living in such a small town. My mind is too curious to be contained with such small boundaries, and I've been running with that idea ever-since. I moved as soon as I turned 16. I tried my hand studying Business. I mean, money = happiness, right? Well. Sort of. Frustrated, I dropped everything and switched up my major. But why? I wasn't sure. I grew a mullet though (pictures have somehow gone missing).

I eventually settled into Computer Science, and gosh was I happy ready to make money. And although I could have started a career path that paid very well, it didn't feel right in my heart. There was an itch I wasn't scratching. So I did what any rational person would do: I packed up and moved again, but this time to a new country to get into film production. It was a leap of faith, but going back to the old way of living was no longer an option.

I sacrificed comfort for another alien world: Britain. I learned to like tea, I found out about another kind of football, I met a whole new set of diverse friends, and I feasted on the endless supply of artistry in London. In this new world of discovery, I realised that I worked harder, learned more and had more fun when I was doing something I enjoyed. I finished my college education and now I had loads of money happiness. Along the way, I realised I am ridiculously good at helping other people achieve their best. It's fulfilling motivating people, and together, creating some bad ass content.

So, if you want the tldr version: I grew up in an alien city, I left to find myself, and I found myself whilst being an alien in another country. I tried chasing money instead of happiness. I tried chasing happiness instead of money. And now I am working my ass off to have both.

Yours Truly,
Niccy Major

My other hobbies include: portrait photography, creating music, making spotify playlists, meeting LGBTQIA+ friends and allies, playing/streaming/watching video games, following fashion trends, reading comic books, exercising, absorbing skateboarding and 90s culture and relaxing at night with a TV series binge. That about covers it.

If you read this far, congrats.  I'd like you to have a cute picture of a dog busking in London.
